Visitors compare everything now. A museum is not judged against the museum down the road. It gets judged against theme parks, immersive exhibitions, and whatever someone did last weekend that ended up on their phone. Standing still is the expensive option.
LocationXR is a spatial experience studio, sometimes called an immersive experience studio. We build experiences that people travel for, talk about, and come back to. We work with museums, visitor attractions, theatres, venues, destination brands and place-making projects, including giga-projects and master-planned developments, to build experiences that people travel for, talk about, and come back to. For places that do not exist yet, we make the unbuilt real: a living, real-time model people can explore before a single brick is laid. Projection mapping, augmented reality, virtual reality, interactive installations and real-time 3D are the tools. The point of them is simpler: give visitors something they cannot get on a screen at home.
Story-driven environments where the space itself does the telling. We handle concept, content and technology as one piece of work, so the result feels designed rather than installed.
We're an independent studio, not a rental company with a projector catalogue. You talk directly to the engineers who build the work, not an account layer. Physical and digital sit under one roof here, so the concept comes first and the technology gets chosen to serve it. Most of our destination and place-making clients come to us with a commercial problem: flat repeat visits, an ageing exhibit, non-event-day revenue, a story the site is not telling, or a project that needs to feel real years before it opens. Captured once, the same real-time asset feeds the web experience, the sales suite, the event and the digital twin — people can see and feel the finished place years before it opens.

We built visitor experiences for the FIFA World Cup, created a destination experience for Yuba Island on the Red Sea, and delivered immersive work for Tonomus at MWC. The case studies are in our work.
An environment that puts the visitor inside the story instead of in front of it. That can mean a projection-mapped gallery, an AR layer over a historic site, a VR experience, or a fully built interactive space. The common thread is active participation: the visitor does something, and the space responds.
